What happens if I choose the wrong network?

Sending crypto through a network that doesn't match the selected deposit network can mean your deposit doesn't arrive in your 96.com balance as expected. Depending on the transaction and networks involved, recovering the funds may be difficult or sometimes impossible. That's why you should always check the coin, network and deposit address before pressing Send.

When withdrawing or sending crypto from your wallet or exchange:
  1. Select the cryptocurrency you want to send.
  2. Choose Send or Withdraw.
  3. Look for the Network or Blockchain Network option.
  4. Check the networks available for that cryptocurrency.
  5. Return to 96.com → Wallet → Deposit and check the network shown there.
  6. Select the exact same network in your sending wallet.
  7. Copy your 96.com deposit address or scan the QR code.
  8. Check everything again before confirming the transfer.

Example:You want to deposit USDT and select TRC-20 on 96.com.When sending the USDT from your external wallet, you should also select TRC-20.Don't select ERC-20, BEP-20 or another network simply because you're still sending USDT. Both sides need to match.

Before sending, check these 3 things:1. CryptocurrencyAre you sending the same cryptocurrency you selected for the deposit?2. NetworkDoes the sending network exactly match the network selected on 96.com?3. Deposit addressHave you copied the complete deposit address correctly? If all three match, you can proceed with your transfer.

Tip: If you're unsure which network to choose, don't send the funds yet. Check the network information in your sending wallet and on the 96.com Deposit page first.
